Tiffeny(Tiff) Wandler owner of Spirit's Gate Ranch Equine Massage has joined Higher Trails as Manager of Programs. With her psychology background and extensive experience with horses, this is a perfect fit.

Higher Trails has many facets including, horse rescue, rehabilitation, retraining and re-homing. Giving these horses a safe place, and people to work with them is one of our goals. Our member riders enjoy training, group rides, and bonding time with their assigned horse.



Ron Tiffin is the ranch foreman at Higher Trails.  After many years working as a petroleum engineer in the corporate world, Ron has hung up his engineer hat and replaced it with a cowboy hat.  If it need doing or fixing.... Ron's the man! Ron also is taking on the training of a Canadian filly.
Heather Davis is the CEO of Equi-Health Canada and Equi-First Aid USA and a shareholder with Higher Trails.  With the Higher Trails ranch being the 'home ranch' for Equi-Health Canada and Equi-First Aid USA, Heather adds an additional dimension to our work with horses. Her extensive knowledge in the area of Equine first aid, and the total well-being of the horse is a huge benefit to Higher Trails.


Dee MacInnes retired from the Federal Government after a fulfilling career in Human Resources. The human side of the horse/human relationship is her specialty.  Dee has been working with children and families for many years and specializing work with families and horses for the past five years.
Ross MacInnes is a retired police officer with over 40 years working with leaders in business, industry, government and the military.  He was trained under the RCMP Musical Ride's demanding protocols.  Ross has worked in the Equine Assisted Wellness field for over a decade and is recognized as an expert not only in horse rehabilitation and retraining but in the application of horses for leadership training and personal development.
